Dan Onorato’s record of economic development success as Chief Executive of Pennsylvania’s second-largest county was forged in close partnership with the region’s colleges and universities.  Dan worked with the Community College of Allegheny County to launch job-training programs to prepare the region’s residents for the green economy, health careers and other emerging sectors, and he expanded workforce development programs and made them more responsive to the needs of employers.
