The Energy Economy holds more potential for Pennsylvania than perhaps any state in the nation.  Pennsylvania’s wealth of natural resources, capacity for pioneering research and innovation, and tradition of success in manufacturing and other core industries create the foundation for sustained economic growth, job creation and environmental stewardship.

Dan Onorato has made Western Pennsylvania a leader in sustainability and the Energy Economy – bringing the region new jobs while saving taxpayers money through better use of energy – and he will do the same as Governor.  As Allegheny County Executive, Dan hired the county’s first Sustainability Manager and he expanded green space, parks and trails throughout the county.

As Governor, Dan will make Pennsylvania the national leader in creating Green-collar jobs and new Green businesses, maximize Pennsylvania’s entire energy production portfolio – including renewable energy and the Marcellus shale natural gas reserves, and fulfill our commitment as stewards of Pennsylvania’s environment.
